SUSHI TEI - CENTRAL PARK JAKARTA

This is one of the most favorite restaurant chain in Jakarta. Why? because it always full booked specially in the weekend and weekdays are quite a challenge to have a seat in this restaurant. I went to their branch in Central Park, Jakarta. As usual, I have to put my name on the waiting list since I can see around 7 names above mine.

The front office is quite informative about the program and asked me to origami while he informed me that every paper crane that I folded, Sushi Tei Indonesia will donate Rp. 100 to Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia as their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). So, I asked my family to start folding those papers into crane shape while waiting in the line. Around 10 minutes later, They called my name and invite me to the table. 

In the table, we continuing to fold the papers and ask some more, because when as they said, if we folded 30 paper cranes, they will give us a macha (green tea) ice cream for free. The ice cream is my son's favorite so we keep folding until its reach 32 cranes and we got that macha ice cream for my son's dessert.
We Ordered some drinks to refreshing out throats after folding and shaping our cranes.


STRAWBERRY FROZE TEA
The tea is mixed with mint and strawberry syrup and there was a fresh strawberry in the bottom of the glass. the taste is balance between sweet and sour.
ICED MANGO TEA
Tea mixed with mango syrup that tastes so fresh with lemon and cheery on the top of the glass.




ICED PEACH TEA

Tea mixed with peach syrup with cherry and sliced lemon on the top of the glass. tasted like iced mango tea but this one using peach syrup.















CHUKA WAKAME
This is my favorite appetizer on every Japanese restaurant. Made from fresh seaweed shredded so thin to noodle like shape served on a frozen blok of ice and rice noodle.


CHUKA EDAMAME
Another my favorite, made from Japanese fresh green beans tasted so fresh without added anything else.







JUMBO DRAGON ROLL
This Sushi roll made to shaped like a dragon. made from crab meat, ebi tempura, tanuki sushi roll and topped with avocado, unagi (eel) and tobikko (flying fish roe) then dressed with mayonnaise.




FRIED SALMON SKIN
This dish is made from deep fried sliced salmon skin. so crunchy and tasty, the skin it self not like as thin as paper but quite thick and we still can tasted the salmon meat.





SALMON MENTAIYAKI/MISOMAYO/MISO BUTTER
This dish is made of a grilled salmon, cod roe and mayonnaise sauce. The salmon is very tasty and the mayo is levitating the taste.
Sooo yummy.....


INARI KANI MAYO

Sweet bean curd filled with Japanese rice and topped with homemade crab meat mayonnaise.








INARI TUNA SALAD
Sweet bean curd filled with Japanese rice and topped with homemade tuna salad.








WASABI TOBIKKO
Japanaese rice wrapped with nori and topped with wasabi flying fish roe.









TUNA SALAD
Japanaese rice wrapped with nori and topped with homemade tuna salad.







ABURI SHIMAAJI
Half boiled stripped jack mackerel










TOBIKKO
Japanese rice wrapped with nori and topped with flying fish roe.








POTATO SALMON
This dish is made from mashed potato wrapped with salmon and topped with tobikko. The mashed potato was tasty when you mixed it with the flying fish roe.
